Anurag Srivastava

Anurag's entrepreneurial journey began in 2006 as he used his extensive cross-market operational experience to turn exciting concepts into a diverse range of sustainable businesses that still thrive today. Noteworthy among these ventures are Sconce Solutions, a product lifecycle management company, Space Matrix Group, a pioneering workplace design company co-founded with wife Shagufta Anurag, which has seen remarkable growth from $1M to $175M, and One Animation, an award-winning animation studio with global distribution across major platforms like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Cartoon Network and Disney, accumulating 25 awards and 2 Emmy nominations.

Anurag has personally invested in many early-stage companies across the world many of which have subsequently achieved impressive exists. These include Eloqua (acquired by Oracle for $1.2B), Encentuate (acquired by IBM), and HolidayIQ (acquired by Lastminute.com). As a member of Accel Partners' investment committee in India, he contributed to investments in successful tech firms like Myntra, later acquired by Flipkart in a significant e-commerce consolidation in 2014.

A strong believer in giving back, Anurag’s philanthropic journey began when he co-founded billionBricks, a non-profit innovation studio utilising design and technology to create innovative housing solutions for the homeless. Their most notable and award-winning solutions are weatherHYDE, a life-saving emergency tent which protects the vulnerable from extreme weather, and powerHYDE, the world’s first carbon-positive residence for the homeless.

Anurag is a BTech Electrical Engineering graduate from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur), one of the premier technical and research universities in India.
